Learning to Scuba Dive on Catalina Island

Unlike many programs that begin and end in a swimming pool, all of our dive classes on Catalina give you real ocean experience in the clear, protected waters of the Island. Our Instructors are highly qualified, enthusiastic, and can be depended upon to maintain your safety and develop your diving skills to their full potential. Designed for water people who want to complete their class quickly, the two-day open water class requires a commitment from physically fit individuals with experience snorkeling and spending time in the water.

We make every Catalina scuba dive a safe, fun and enjoyable experience. Let us help you plan and achieve your diving goals. All dives will be done from shore unless you choose to upgrade by reserving a space on the Scuba Cat dive boat.

As a PADI Diver, you will carry the most respected and sought after scuba credentials in the world. No matter where you choose to dive, your PADI certification card will be recognized and accepted.
