As an active partner in PADI AWARE, we support global efforts to protect marine environments and combat ocean pollution. PADI AWARE focuses on issues such as marine debris and shark conservation, aligning perfectly with Catalina Divers Supply's mission to foster a healthier ocean.
Each year we organize the Avalon Harbor Underwater Cleanup. This community-driven event brings together divers and volunteers to remove debris from the harbor, enhancing the health of local marine habitats and raising awareness about the impacts of pollution. The cleanup not only helps maintain the beauty and safety of Avalon Harbor but also strengthens the diving community's commitment to environmental stewardship.
We are proud to support the Catalina Underwater Film Festival — the inaugural celebration of ocean storytelling, underwater cinematography, and marine conservation, coming to the historic Casino Theatre in Avalon on February 19–20, 2027. Guided by the theme "Films That Awaken New Depths," the festival brings together filmmakers, conservationists, and ocean enthusiasts for a curated experience that goes beyond statistics to spark real transformation for our blue planet. In addition to these initiatives, Catalina Divers Supply offers a range of ocean-friendly products in its dive shop. By stocking eco-conscious gear and accessories, we enable divers and others to minimize their environmental impact.
