Guided SCUBA Diving at the World Famous Casino Dive Park

If you are new to the Dive Park, a solo diver, or someone that enjoys to be shown the amazing 800 species that live in the Casino Point Underwater Park, we suggest a Guided Dive in the distinctive Casino Dive Park.

 

The guided dive offers a seasoned Instructor or Divemaster that will accompany you as you enjoy the pristine Kelp Forest in the Casino Dive Park Underwater Wonderland.

 

You may bring some or all of your own gear. If you like to travel light, Catalina Divers Supply has you covered. CDS can supply some or all of your gear. All you need to bring is a towel and swimsuit.
 

If it has been over 2 years since you last dove, and/or you're a little uncomfortable, you may like a Refresher Dive. We suggest you book your first Guided Dive as an Intentionally Private Diver. If it has been over 3 years, don’t worry, that's okay too. We recommend a 3 hour PADI Reactivate Course.

 

You will need to show Proof of Certification for this excursion.

The Kelp Forests in Catalina Island are some of the best in the world.

You may swim with Oscar the Huge Sheepshead, Bat Rays, Calico Bass, Giant Kelp Fish, Moray Eels, 200-400lb Giant Black Sea Bass, Octopus, or many other local species while flying through columns of Lush Kelp. 
 

As one of the most Abundant Ecosystems on the Planet, the Southern California Kelp Forest will surround you with more aquatic life than you could ever imagine.

Divers in the Casino Dive Park
What you need to know about your Guided Dive on Catalina Island 

  • Location: From shore, and in the Casino Dive Park. This excursion does not involve a boat.

  • Days/Times: Daily at 8 a.m., 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m., & 4 p.m. 

  • Friday of Memorial Day Weekend to Monday of Labor Day Weekend - 4 p.m. time slot also available

  • Duration: 2 hours

  • Gear: All Gear Included

  • Minimum Age: Certified Divers Only. Restricted depth will apply for Junior Divers ages 10 to 15.

  • Rates: $115 per person, $135 solo diver, $190 intentionally Private Diver

  • Want to do a Second Guided Dive after your first? An additional dive with your guide is just $65 per person. 

  • Note: Only certified divers may participate, and they must have been diving within the last 2 years. A professional diver will be with each reservation group. Divers must bring their Certification Cards.

  • If it's been longer than 2 years since your last dive, we suggest booking your first dive as Intentionally Private Diver.

  • If it's been longer than 3 years since you last dove, we recommend the Reactivate Course.
